Blended Learning Courses
Blended Learning combines online learning and in-classroom training to offer a comprehensive experience. The course covers the same course curriculum and teaches the same skills as an instructor-led course, but divides the delivery of the course into two parts:
A self-directed online cognitive program: the online component.
A classroom-based skills session: the in-classroom component will take place once physical distance requirements are amended.
Blended learning is a low-barrier option that accommodates various learning styles and student needs. Our blended learning online component uses a variety of eLearning engagement tools
and media such as videos, animations, self-directed learning and interactive activities, and includes an online exam module. Know more about the course:

Given the importance of physical distancing and other protective measures, Heart & Stroke has developed a two-part approach, deconstructing our traditional instructor-led learning programs into a cognitive element and an in-person skills element, which can be completed at a later date (after the pandemic):
Part 1: Virtual cognitive learning - a shift to cognitive only learning in a virtual and interactive way, facilitated by a Heart & Stroke instructor.
Part 2: Hands-on skills practice and skills testing components – this will take place once physical distance requirements are amended.
